<p>Method for treatment of a disease in a patient characterized by accumulation of β-amyloid. The method includes identifying a patient potentially suffering from such a disease and contacting a neuron of the patient with a therapeutically effective amount of a tachykinin agonist. Methods for screening for compounds useful for treating such a disease are also disclosed.</p> |
