An industrial CT apparatus capable of obtaining a good image quality by a simple confirguration. The apparatus is the second generation type incorporating the rotational motions as well as the traverse motions, in which the detector (9) is positioned nearby a center of rotation of the object (51) to be examined. When the object (51) to be examined is a ring-shaped object, the detector (9) is positioned inside the central bore of the object (51). Also, the X-ray is emitted in the form of a fan-shaped beam whose symmetrical axis is deviated from an axial direction perpendicular to the traverse direction.
