PURPOSE:To obtain the title fiber reduced in occurrence of smell also after irradiation of radiation such as ray or electronic beam and suitable for nonwoven fabric for medical use, sowing for operation, etc., by dipping a polyolefin fiber into an aqueous solution in which a deodorizing agent is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin fiber is dipped in an aqueous solution in which a deodorizing agent (preferably extract and dry distillation ingredient of plant or cationic surfactant such as alkyl quaternary ammonium salt, aromatic quaternary ammonium salt or hydroxyammonium salt) is dissolved to provide the aimed fiber in which the deodorizing agent exists on the surface of the fiber. |
