PURPOSE:To enable easy and flexible dyeing in excellent level dyeing property and to develop vari-colored clear and deep color having high contrast by using a hot spring deposit or hot spring water as a mordant in the dyeing with a natural animal or vegetable dye. CONSTITUTION:Fibers such as cotton or silk are immersed in a solution of a natural dye extracted from animals or vegetables. The treated fibers are mordanted with a mordant liquid containing about 1.5-5wt.% of hot spring deposit based on the weight of the fiber cloth or with hot spring water containing the deposit in an amount corresponding to the above weight ratio. The fiber can be easily dyed to a color having delicately controllable hue, contrast, etc. |
