PURPOSE:To provide the subject nonwoven fabric having excellent heat, oxidation, chemical and radiation resistances and mechanical strength and used for protecting wears, etc., by gathering fibers consisting of a polyether copolymer comprising plural kinds of specific repeating units. CONSTITUTION:The objective nonwoven fabric is prepared by gathering fibers consisting of a polyethercopolymer comprising repeating units of formulas I and II in a mol. ratio [formula I/formula (I +II)] of 0.15-0.40. The objective nonwoven fabric is a wed formed of irregularly twisted continuous monofilaments obtained by melt-spinning the copolymer which has preferably a melt viscosity of 3000-50000 poises at 400 deg.C. |
