PURPOSE:To provide the subject sheet excellent in heat resistance, mechanical properties, etc., by forming an aliphatic polyester comprising an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, an aliphatic diol, a dihydroxy compound, etc., into a sheet, pressing the sheet and subsequently thermally treating the sheet. CONSTITUTION:An aliphatic polyester comprising an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid of formula (n is 0-10) (preferably oxalic acid, malonic acid, etc.), an aliphatic diol, (e.g. ethylene glycol, polyethylene oxide) and at least one of a dihydroxy compound of formula II (R<1> and R<2> are alkylene; P and r are 0, l or larger) and a monohydroxy compound of formula III (R<3> is alkylene; l is 2 or 3; m is 0,1 or larger) is melted, formed into a sheet, pressed or stretched at the ordinary temperature to a temperature lower 50 deg.C than the melting point of the polymer to provide the objective sheet. |
