PURPOSE:To exchange only a micro lens array substrate in the case a color filter is discolored by providing the interchangeable micro lens array substrate having a micro lens and a color filter corresponding to each of the pixel electrodes of a liquid crystal panel on one side of the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a light source 19, a condenser lens 10, a transmission type liquid crystal panel 1 provided with many pixel electrodes, and a projection lens 11. Also, an interchangeable micro lens array substrate 3 having a micro lens 12 and a color filter 6 corresponding to each of the picture element electrodes of the liquid crystal panel 1 is provided on one side of the liquid crystal panel 1. In such a manner, in the case the color filter 6 which is apt to be discolored is discolored, the projection type color liquid crystal display device which can change its color filter 6 can be obtained. |
