PURPOSE:To prevent heat from filling the region behind a shade for formation of clear-cut by forming arm opening in the region under the shade for putting the regions with spaces in front of and behind the shade in mutual communication. CONSTITUTION:A shade 30 for formation of clear-cut is formed in a single piece with a lens holder 28 in such an arrangement that the upper edge is located at No.2 focal point f2 of a light reflecting surface 25, A vivid clear-cut is formed in the light distribution pattern. An opening 32 for putting the region S2 with space behind the shade in communication with the region S1 with space in front of shade is formed in the region under the shade 30. In these space regions S1 and S2, an air stream is likely generated through this opening 32, which encourages convection in the projection unit 20, and the heat radiativeness of the whole projection unit is improved. |
