PURPOSE:To gently drive a load with sufficient torque with vibration suppressed by installing a current setter to set constant current values, which are applied to the phases of a pulse motor, with many stages, a method specifier to selectively change and specify excitation driving methods, and a variable setter to variably set the constant current values of the steps. CONSTITUTION:The extended IC Q2 of a microcomputer Q1 doubles as a method specifier. When an excitation driving method is selectively specified with the extended IC Q2, a current setter sets constant current values, which are applied to the phases A, A', B, and B' of a pulse motor PM, with many stages and the motor is driven. In this time, a variable setter can variably set the constant current values of the steps set by the current setter based on a specified excitation driving method and can set the most suitable constant current value of the pulse motor PM for the excitation driving method. When the excitation driving method is specified by the method specifier, the current setter sets constant current values, which are applied to the phases of the pulse motor PM, with many stages and the motor is driven. |
