PURPOSE:To inform a user distinctly of a copying permisible state by displaying the 1st numerical value in a copying sheet number display device from the time when an electric power source is turned on until the machine assumes the copying permissible state, and automatically displaying the 2nd numerical value when the copying permissible state is attained. CONSTITUTION:A ready detector 10 and a copying switch 11 are connected to the control part 9 of a copying machine. The detector 10 outputs a signal when the temp. of a fixing device attains a fixable value. A keyboard is connected to the control part via an encoder 12, and an electric power source lamp 3, a paper feed empty lamp 4, a ready lamp 5 and an abnormality detecting lamp 6 are connected thereto via a driver 13. A copying sheet number display device 7 is also connected thereto via a segment driver. When the electric power source is turned on, display devices 71, 72 both go to zero, the ready is cancelled, and zero and one are displayed. To copy one sheet, copying is possible simply by closing a copying switch. |
