<p>PURPOSE:To contribute to the simplification of an apparatus and the reduction of manufacturing cost by combining a plurality of detection coils with one compensating coil positioned on the lateral side of a belt and arranging the same in the lateral direction of the belt. CONSTITUTION:In place of constituting a pair of twin coils from two detection coils, one compensating coil 7i is arranged on the lateral side of a belt 4 to set off the induced electromotive forces from exciting coils generated in all of a plurality of detection coils 7e, 7f, 7g, 7h. In this case, the number of the detection coils can be set to five, that is, the detection coils 7e - 7h and the compensating coil 7i in total.</p> |
