<p>PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of prime fibers of an optical fiber by branching a light guide in a tightly closed light shielding box. CONSTITUTION:One end of a light guide 2 is connected with an optical thyristor. On the other hand, the other end of it branches in a tightly closed light shielding box 8, and its each branch is connected with a light emitting diode 3 respectively. The light guide 2 is fixed on the box through a protecting sheath 4, a fixing metallic fitting 9 for the light guide, and, connectors 11. Further, the dried air is enclosed into the box to prevent the dew condensation onto the optical fiber.</p> |
