PURPOSE:To obtain the high quality half tone recording by reducing the increment of pulse width of a driving circuit corresponding to a recording electrode arranged around the border of a recording electrode block and compensating the uneven recording. CONSTITUTION:A signal with the pulse width corresponding to a picture signal level is inputted to the input terminal 22 and amplified by transistors TR1 and TR2 after passing through a coupling condenser C2. The output whose pulse width T is extended by increment DELTAT in correspondence with the carrier accumulation time changed according to the resistance value of collector resistance R2 makes a recording electrode block drive and controls the recording concentration according to the increment DELTAT. If the increment DELTAT around the border of the recording block is reduced less than that of other parts, unevenness of recording is compensated and the high quality of half tone is recorded.
