PURPOSE:To always confirm the image quality of the first copy in order to prevent a large number of inferior copies, by furnishing a collator with ordinary collating functions and further a function concerning a paper discharge tray. CONSTITUTION:An upward projected part 9 of a collator 1 is provided with an under side guide plate 10, upside guide plates 11, 12 and a copy tray 15. The plate 11 and the tray 15 are turnably mounted on a shaft 13, and turned with a cam 41 of a rotary solenoid 39. In the case of the first copy, the solenoid 39 is excited, the plate 11 is pushed down, the tray 15 is moved to the position of a chain line shown in the figure, and the copy sheet is received in the tray 15. In the case of the following copies, the solenoid 39 is demagnetized, the tray 15 returns to the position of a full line shown in the figure, and the ordinary collation actions are carried out, thus permitting the first copy to be always confirmed, and therefore, a large number of inferior copies to be prevented. |
