PURPOSE:To obtain a CD having a WORM function and an editing function which are excellent in recording stability by a method wherein the title disc is composed of three layers of a transparent layer/a substrate film layer/a reflection film layer and a coloring matter film containing a specific phthalocyanine compound is used as the substrate film layer. CONSTITUTION:For a compact disc recording a CD format signal, which is composed of three layer structure of a transparent substrate/a substrate thin film/a reflection film layer, a coloring matter film containing phthalocyanine compound as given by the formula (1) is used as the recording film layer. As this recording film material, a substrate having absorption which is 30 % or under to 780 nm in wavelength and is preferably 10-20 %, is used. When a reflection film of gold or the like is provided onto the recording film, an optical disc which has a reflectance of 70 % or over in incidence on a substrate surface, records a CD format or CD-ROM format signal with laser light of 780 nm in wavelength, and can read information with a regerative device of CD or CD-ROM, is obtained. |
