PURPOSE:To prevent that a plurality of papers are simultaneously turned over by providing a suction pad formed from an elastomer, the pad holder held to the lower part of the circumferential part of the suction pad, the support member fixed to the upper part of the circumferential part of the suction pad and the coil spring mounted between the pad holder and the support member and sucking a booklet by the suction pad before inclining the suction pad. CONSTITUTION:A coil spring 2 is provided to the outer periphery of the upper cylindrical part of a suction pad 1 formed from an elastomer such as rubber and the lower part thereof is held by a pad holder 3. The upper end of the cylindrical part of the suction pad 1 and the upper part of the coil spring 2 are attached to a support member 4 and the lower end surface of the pad holder 3 slightly withdraws from the lower end surface of the suction pad 1. After a suction pump is operated, the suction pad 1 is pressed to the uppermost paper of a booklet 5 to be turned over. Next, when the support member 4 is slid in a B-direction, the papers on and after the second paper are separated. |
