<p>PURPOSE:To record/reproduce both video and audio signals simultaneously by forming picture, audio and control areas with parts of bits in N bits, arranging a video signal to the picture area for each compression reference period and arranging an audio signal for an audio area and arranging a next or succeeding data or a data relating to the audio area to the control area. CONSTITUTION:Bits [b15-b4], bits [b3-b1] and a bit [b0] are used for picture, audio and control areas respectively. A video signal of the NTSC system is used, a picture data by 30 frames is arranged to the picture area for each compression reference period and the data is compressed within 1152000 bits. Reference picture data VB1, VB2,... corresponding to a picture data of a lst frame and differential compressed picture data DELTAc1, DELTAc2 to DELTAc29 corresponding to the picture data are arranged sequentially to the picture area. An audio data by the compressed reference period is arranged to the audio area, the ADPCM system is adopted for the coding system and the data is compressed within 288000 bits. The control area is provided with the synchronization, mode and control code section, a discrimination circuit discrimiantes the code and next and succeeding data are controlled under the control of a CPU.</p> |
