PURPOSE:To reduce the starting voltage of a lamp at low temperature by coating the inner wall of a glass tube, which is charged with mercury and a mixture gas containing at least krypton, with a transparent conductive film, as well as a first and a second phosphor layer. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of a glass tube 1, which is charged with mercury and a mixture gas consisting of krypton and neon, is coated with a transparent conductive film 2 having a resistance value of 10-60kOMEGA. The film 2 is coated with a first phosphor 3 consisting of antimony and calcium halophosphate phosphor activated with manganese. The first phosphor 3 is coated with a second phosphor 4 consisting of magnesium barium phosphor activated with europium, magnesium cerium aluminate phosphor activated with terbium, and yttrium oxide phosphor activated with europium. |
