<p>PURPOSE:To remove jammed sheets through the same opening part and the causes of unusual stapler operations by providing a cover member for opening and closing the opening part provided adjacent to the moving space of a distributing means and of a stapler and a control means for moving the stapler to an operative position through the opening part. CONSTITUTION:A cover member 150 is provided correspondingly to an opening part 152 located adjacent to the moving space of a distributing means 13 and of a stapler unit 30 and, since the opening part 152 is made open when the cover member 150 is moved to a position as shown by broken lines, the operator can insert his hand into the moving space of the distributing means 13. If a sheet jamming is produced in sheet routes such as a transfer passage 6, a conveyor belt 11 and the distributing means 13, the cover member 150 is opened and the jammed sheets are removed through the opening part 152 by his hand. The operator can also press a switch to control the stapler unit 30 to move to the operative position through the opening part 152 and then insert his hand into the moving space of the stapler unit 30 through the opening part 152 to replenish the needles or remove the jammed needles so as to remove the causes of the unusual operations.</p> |
