PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of offset calculation by providing an arithmetic unit with a comparing means and not performing mean value calculation for the offset calculation if the output of a sensor exceeds a certain threshold value. CONSTITUTION:The output of the angular speed sensor 20 is converted by an analog-digital converter (A/D converter) 21 into a numeral at constant sampling time and the numeral is inputted to the arithmetic unit 22. Then the arithmetic unit 22 removes an offset component and outputs the result. Namely, the arithmetic unit 22 has the comparing means 15 for judging the value of the sensor output. When the sensor output exceeds the threshold value, the mean value calculation 18 for the offset calculation is skipped. |
