The inventive redundant pass preventing system for a telephone branched in parallel includes a transceiver transmitting and receiving a voice message; a hook detecting part detecting a hook state; a telephone loop control part turning ON/OFF a telephone's loop; a voice amplifying part amplifying a voice signal from the transceiver; a telephone branched to a used telephone within the same local line; a telephone detector detecting the branched telephone's loop; a control part producing a control signal for transmitting a voice message informing "the line is busy"; and a guide announcement storing part applying the signal to the voice amplifying part. This simplifies algorithm modification and hardware function, thus preventing another user from trying to call.
