TWO-PHASE FLOW MEASUREMENT

A method of measuring the flow rate of a liquid in a two-phase fluid and of determining the void fraction of a gaseous content of the fluid uses a turbine flow meter (16) which has been calibrated in terms of liquid flow rate against rotor frequency and of void fraction against a turbulence parameter derived from the average rotor frequency and the root mean square of the inverse of the rotor frequency by multiplication thereof.
