<p>PURPOSE: To improve antitheft function by arranging decomposable assembly between a steering itself and a steering shaft, connecting and disconnecting transmission of torque of the steering to the steering shaft through the operation of a control item of the assembly. CONSTITUTION: A fixation part 4 is fastened to a portion between a cube 2 of a steering 1, 2 and a steering shaft 3 by means of a screw 12. The fixation part 4 and the steering shaft 3 are arranged so as to enable transmission of torque through meshing between external teeth of the steering shaft 3 and internal teeth 9 of the fixation part 4. A locking pin 17 is attached to a portion between the cub 2 of the steering 1, 2 and an eccentric opening 19 of the fixation part 4, so as to be movable in bilateral directions. The locking pin 17 is moved in the bilateral directions by operating a key 22 inserted into a control item 6, and then operating gears 24 and 25. The pin 17 is inserted into the eccentric opening 19, for connecting and disconnecting the steering 1, 2 to the shaft 3.</p> |
