PURPOSE:To improve response, and to set the torque of a motor under the conditions of narrow setting by previously obtaining the nonlinear relationship of the torque of the motor and the duty of PWM pulses and controlling the duty of PWM pulses on the basis of the relationship. CONSTITUTION:A characteristic curve showing the relationship of the torque of a motor and the duty of PWM pulses at a time when the motor of a card reader is driven by PWM pulses is acquired previously and the curve is approximated in a folding line, the motor is torque-controlled, and the duty of PWM pulses is corrected so that the relationship of target torque required for the motor and the duty of PWM pulses actually applied to the motor is formed in the folding line. Accordingly, the relationship of the torque of the motor and the duty of PWM pulses can be shown by a simple equation, thus making the title method effective at a time when a usable memory, etc., are small-sized. |
