PURPOSE:To focus easily an object at any position on a screen according to a photographer's intention by focusing the lens of a TV camera based on a picture data extracted by a gate circuit. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of a not shown object photographed by a cameral part 1 is projected on a screen 2 of a view finder, and the photographer monitors a picture he is photographing while watching this screen 2. At this time, a photographer's eye 3 usually concentrates on the part to be focused of a picture projected on the screen 2. Therefore, a gaze detecting part 4 detects which direction of the screen 2 the photographer's eye 3 is looking at, and output data concerning gaze in a gazing point operation part 5. The gazing point operation processing part 5 decides the existence of a photographer's gazing point P on any part of the screen 2 from inputted data, and outputs the decided result in a focus circuit part 6. |
