PURPOSE:To make it possible to pipette a reagent in a state wherein particulates for analysis are dispersed uniformly, by agitating a reagent vessel forcibly beforehand before the reagent is pipetted. CONSTITUTION:Based on measuring-item selection information on a sample, a specified sample vessel is selected from ones disposed in a large number and a reagent vessel is agitated forcibly before a reagent is pipetted. Concretely, a rotary table 10, an agitation motor 18 and a vertical drive motor 22 are controlled by CPU 27 on the basis of the measuring-item selection information. Then a reagent bottle 11 to be agitated is stopped at a position of rotation above an elastic receptacle 15 of an agitating mechanism 14. In succession, the agitation motor 18 and the vertical drive motor 22 are driven and thereby the elastic receptacle 15 is raised by an arm 25 and holds the desired reagent bottle 11. Thereby a rotational force from the agitation motor 18 makes the elastic receptacle 15 vibrate the reagent bottle 11 so that the bottle be agitated. After agitation is ended, the elastic receptacle 15 is lowered by the motor 22. According to this constitution, the reagent can be pipetted in a state wherein particulates are dispersed uniformly. |
