摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate temperature distribution data free from attenuation attributed to an optical fiber for measurement by detecting an outgoing signal and an incoming signal having the same temperature distribution information to compensate for the attenuation for measurement with the synthesization of both the signals. CONSTITUTION:An excitation light pulse generated from a laser light source 1 is supplied to a directive connector 2. The connector 2 introduces the excitation light pulse from the light source 1 to an optical fiber 3 for measurement while separating backscattered light from the fiber 3. The backscattered light separated is inputted into a frequency divider 4, which 4 separates an anti-stokes light and a stokes light from the backscattered light. Then, the anti-stokes light separated 4 is introduced to a detector 5 while the stokes light is introduced to the detector 6. Signals amplified 7 and 8 are inputted into an arithmetic control section 11 through fast A/D converters 9 and 10. Moreover, the control section 11 transmits a trigger signal to a pulse generator section 12 to drive and control a drive section 13 of the light source 1 and controls operations of the converters 9 and 10. The results of computation are displayed 14.</p>
