In re-closable packs 20, a container part 32 is given a closure part 31, such as a lid, a cap or equivalent, which can be opened or removed from the container part to permit access to the contents 33. After the pack has been sealed to enclose the contents, one or more arrangements 41 or seals are placed clearly visibly on the outside of the pack, in at least part of the area for adjoining parts of the container part 32 and the closure part 31, the arrangement being securely connected to the container part and the sealing part. The arrangement 41 is made of a material which, in the event of a mutual movement or displacement between the container part 32 and the sealing part 31, is affected in such a way that access or attempted access to the inside of the pack 20 or to the contents 33 can be ascertained. In a method for placing arrangements 41 or seals on the packs 20, the packs are made to pass a transfer member which applies arrangements to the packs. In the present case, the packs 20 provided with the arrangements 41 can be made to pass an embossing member which embosses 39 the arrangement or seal. <IMAGE> |
