<p>PURPOSE:To suppress voltage to be induced in a shield layer by separating the shield layer for a feeder feeding poly-phase AC power to a plurality of thrust coils arranged on the rail of a linear motor, at each phase power feeding point and connecting shield layers of different phases mutually in series. CONSTITUTION:Many thrust coils 4 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of a rail(not shown) and fed with power from a three-phase AC power supply 5, for example, through a conductor 6a. The conductor 6a is cut at power feeding points of respective phase coils U-W, and respective phase coils 4 are energized through a connector 7 thus connecting the respective phase coils U-W in series. Shield layer 6b of each conductor 6 is also cut at each power feeding point and connected in series with the shield layer 6b of different phase through a lead wire 12. Consequently, voltages to be induced in the shield layer 6b are canceled to suppress AC current thus preventing ground voltage rise.</p> |
