PURPOSE:To prevent malfunctioning of a control system by providing a slice level lowering speed varying circuit to vary a speed at which a slice level lowers according to a cycle of an input signal. CONSTITUTION:When an output voltage of an electromagnetic pickup is low and a frequency is low with an engine rotating at a low speed, a discharging time of a capacitor C1 in a slicing circuit 31 is set optimal with a resistance 5. When the output voltage of the electromagnetic pickup is low while the frequency grows higher as the engine rotates faster, the capacitor C1 of the circuit 31 is shortened with a slicing level lowing speed varying circuit 32 to be adjusted according to the frequency. This enables the setting of the slice level optimal according to both of the output voltage level and an output frequency of the electromagnetic pickup thereby securing a noise margin sufficiently from a low to high speed and achieves a higher reliability with the prevention of malfunctioning in a control system. |
