<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible that regeneration of a filter is sufficiently and securely performed without exerting an influence on driving performance by leading auxiliary fuel while it is unburned to the filter in the temperature bounds wherein an organic soluble component is re-burned and at the time of deceleration, as well as controlling so as to throttle intake at the time of filter regeneration. CONSTITUTION:An actuating means 44 that actuates an auxiliary fuel supply device 33 is provided so that auxiliary fuel is supplied to the supper stream of a filter 32 when the filter 32 is at the time of regeneration as well as at the time of deceleration and judged it is in the re-burnable temperature bounds of an organic soluble component. Also, an intake throttle valve driving device 38 is actuated by this actuation so that sufficient volume of air for unburnt fuel supplied to the filter 32 and for re-burning of particulates piled up on the filter 32 is supplied to the filter 32. And, a regulating valve driving device 35 is actuated by an actuating means 45 so that the introduction of exhaust to the filter 32 is restricted in response to the signal from an engine load sensor 42 and only in the zone wherein carbon is not much exhausted while it is regenerated.</p> |
