PURPOSE:To allow the shift of the operation end of an elastic partializing means, and take out enough sensor output via a change in the position of the aforesaid operation end in a mechanical sensor for operating a spring type pre-tensioner by releasing the support of a release member through the shift of a mass body due to the inertia thereof. CONSTITUTION:A steel ball 5 is set in such a way that the internal surface thereof is in contact with a recessed conical surface 32c, the front end in contact with the front end wall surface of a steel ball storage hole 1a, and the outer surface in contact with a notched recess 2c, respectively. Also, an inertia body 2 is retained at the illustrated position with a balance between the setting load f1 of a set spring 6 and a friction force F3 on the basis of the partialized pressure F1 of an energizing coil spring 4. When a shock is applied and the aforesaid balance is lost, the inertia body 2 moves right, the steel ball 5 is released and a wire 31 quickly moves right, thereby causing the appearance of sensor output. |
