METHOD OF MAKING BEARING RACES

FIELD: machine engineering, namely manufacture of bearing races. SUBSTANCE: preliminarily shaped rings of predetermined set of rings are quenched and ground. Then rings whose dimensions are differed from that of rings of said set for given working step are rejected. Rejected rings are annealed and plastically deformed in cold state along their outer and inner diameters. Then said rings are worked by width up to dimension corresponding to that of rings of previous set after their preliminary shaping. As-worked rings are quenched and ground. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
