Based on a chamber of symmetrical configuration which is versatile and difficult to clog up, in which two impact screens 1, which pivot by virtue of rotary shafts 2, are located in a symmetrical position with respect to the vertical axis, said screens being equipped with systems for regulation by means of spindles and nuts 3 which are easy to manipulate. The high-velocity rotor 4, which provides a high level of kinematic energy, is equipped with two impact blades 5 and is able to rotate in both directions, thus allowing greater and more regular utilization of the impacting blades and bars 6 of the impact screens. This improvement is of use in obtaining fines and sand in aggregate-treatment installations, starting with materials that are hard and abrasive, semi-hard and also soft. <IMAGE>
