The thermostat of the invention has means for selecting mode of use and desired temperature, sensor means for detecting actual ambient temperature and means for controlling the motorised pump for discharging condensation water. Said thermostat has a supply source 2, pulse generation means 3, a counter 4, a comparator 5 to which are connected an ambient-temperature sensor 9 and a potentiometer 10 actuated by the user, switching means 6 for regulating the supply of a motorised compressor 11 for heating means 12 and timer means 7 for initiating the motorised pump 14 for emptying the condensation-water tank. This thermostat allows the connection or disconnection of the power elements of the air-conditioning apparatus and/or aeroheater. <IMAGE>
