Improvements in the manufacture of automatic switches, characterised in that the arm carrying the mobile contact is triggered, both to connect to the fixed contact and close the circuit and to separate it from the fixed contact and close the circuit, at the halfway point of the travel of which the operating lever of the switch is enabled, the switch incorporating plates which provide satisfactory spark propagation towards the spark-extinguishing chamber and the means necessary for the user to be aware at all times of the situation of the contacts, independently of what the position of the operating lever indicates. <IMAGE>
