Device for manufacturing moulds made from clay or similar material, which comprises at least one pressure adapted for supplying a band of clay vertically downwards from a pressing nozzle, a cutting device arranged under the nozzle of the press for cutting pieces of clay from the lower end of the band, and a conveyor device for guiding each piece of clay from the cutting device downwards, towards the inside of the moulding tray, there being obstruction means adapted in order to be displaced, by drive means, from a rest position beyond the trajectory of the clay pieces to an operational position inside said trajectory under the cutting device. <IMAGE>
