The struts are telescopic and comprise a locking washer which is adjusted in terms of elevation by means of the action of a rod. It is an object of the invention to obtain safe locking of said washer with simple, manually actuated means. This device comprises a sleeve/nut integral radially with the locking washer, specifically on that face thereof which receives the action of the lifting rod, onto which sleeve/nut is threaded a screw which presses laterally against the inner tube of the strut, thus ensuring oblique locking of said washer fastened on the aforesaid inner tube. For correct graduable elevation of the inner tube, the leading end of the lifting rod engages in a lower cavity of the sleeve/nut integral with the locking washer. <IMAGE>
