The drawer slide comprises relatively sliding rails (1, 13, 24) with rollers (18, 27) between them and stops (8, 21, 22, 26) to limit their relative movement. In the rail section directly before the roller of the counter part rail reaches its ends position a rubber insert (9) is mounted to provide a tapering rail section and thus check the movement of the roller. The insert is formed from a flat surfaced wedge mounted entirely in an indented region of a horizontal flange of the rail. USE/ADVANTAGE - Drawer slide allows use of larger damping insert to absorb noise of impacts. |
