PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and speedily perform wire diverging work without stripping a cable cover by making a horizontal width of two grooves formed at a main body equal to a width of a larger diameter side of a cable and aligning an interval between the grooves with an interval of a cutout of a contact. SOLUTION: A three-core VVF cable on an existing wire is connected to a groove 21 of 2b, one of the main body structures 2a and 2b, and the diverging three-core VVF cable is inserted into an adjacent groove 22. The other structure 2a is folded, covered thereon, and pressed, and an engagement claw piece 20b and engage-in holes are engaged with each other. A top end face of a contact 1 is pressed by a pressing fixture A and pushed into a contact insertion hole 23, and a cover body 26 is bent from a coupling band 25 to cover the contact 1. The pressed contact 1 comes into electric contact with a conducting wire on the same electrode side of both cables by cutting inner and outer skins of the cable inside of a connector main body 2, and at the same time is cut between a conducting wire in which the cable is brought into contact with the contact 1 by a cutting blade 13 and the other two conducting wires. |
