<p>PURPOSE:To accurately estimate a deformation amount of a partial material (for instance, streak steel), obtained by cutting a plate material, by two- dimensionally measuring a temperature distribution when the plate material, which has the temperature distribution in its plate surface, is cut. CONSTITUTION:An elongated plate 100 is fed from a rolling mill 2 on a rolling line 3 in a direction A, and the plate 100, after it is corrected by a hot leveler HL, is fed passing through under a scanning radiation thermometer 4 arranged on the line 3. The thermometer 4 measures a surface temperature of the plate 100 in a position interval of DELTAY in a direction Y. Further the similar measurement is repeated in a position interval of DELTAX in a direction X. In this way, the surface temperature of the elongated plate 100 is two-dimensionally measured. The thermometer 4 outputs its measured temperature T to be picture processed by a picture processing unit 5. This data is recorded and calculated in an arithmetic unit 6, and the coordinates of each temperature measuring point are determined on the basis of outputs from detectors 9, 10. The deformation amount is estimated by these temperature distribution data.</p> |
