<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for calculation of the property of a burst by each node in a network by implementing call setting control through the approximation of the burst property of a traffic via a node so as to be equal to the burst property sent from a terminal equipment or to be a change to a fixed multiple of alpha. CONSTITUTION:A transmission terminal equipment 11 in the case of making call setting informs a call setting request signal and a CR signal 21 comprising a maximum transmission speed MAX and an average transmission speed AVE of information being a burst property of a traffic to a call setting reception controller 16. The call setting reception controller 16 decides a path of a call from the transmission terminal equipment 11 to a reception terminal equipment 15, calculates a burst overflow rate BLOSS, compares it with a predetermined fixed threshold level and discriminates it to be enabled reception of the call when the rate BLOSS of all nodes in a node list is smaller than the threshold level and to be disabled reception in other cases. The transmission terminal equipment 11 processes the information as a packet so long as a CR-enable signal 22 is noticed, adds an identification number VC to the packet and the result to a node 12 to make communication.</p> |
