The invention discloses a device which divides the aquacultural units (16) into several volumes (15) in which the animals are selected and separated automatically. The said device comprises a retaining grille (1) with openings (with or without tunnel) (12) closed by doors (3) allowing the passage in a single direction (11) to another volume of only those occupants meeting the selection criteria (size, weight, colour, etc.). The selection is made by an analyzer (7) which checks the animals to determine whether or not they may pass through. When associated with a computer (8), the said device constitutes an effective management tool for aquacultural farms adapted particularly to providing a quantitative, qualitative and spatial stock management, and generating production statistics. The device is intended in particular for capturing aquaculture animals. |
