Assembly has a radially projecting section on the inner surface of the bobbin capsule carrier, to extend between the flanges of an inserted bobbin. Pref. radially projecting section has elastic pliability w.r.t. bobbin hub, using a nonwoven material or platelets covered with textile threads, in strip form parallel to the bobbin hub. The projecting section is bonded to the inner surface by adhesive, or is inserted in an opening in the bobbin capsule carrier. ADVANTAGE - Prevents the lower thread from passing over a bobbin flange, when stitching stops.
