PURPOSE:To enhance heat resistance of a reflection film and to prevent this reflection film from being easily deteriorated by ultraviolet light by washing the molded thermosetting resin with hot water and thereafter performing heating and drying therefor and modifying the surface by irradiation of a short-wavelength ultraviolet lamp and cooling it and thereafter performing coating at a base to form the reflection film. CONSTITUTION:Thermosetting resin contg. the inorganic fibrous reinforcing material is molded. Surface treatment is performed and the molded body is utilized as the reflector of a lighting fixture. In this method, after the molded body is washed by hot water, it is heated and dried by blowing of hot air, irradiation of an infrared-ray lamp or irradiation of a high pressure ultraviolet lamp. The surface of the molded body is modified by irradiation of a short-wavelength ultraviolet lamp. After the molded body is cooled, a base coat is coated to form a reflection film. As a result, in the case of forming the reflection film on the reflector of a lighting fixture made of thermosetting resin, this reflector is excellent in wettability and adhesive properties. Moreover the formed reflection film is excellent in heat resistance and durability and especially is not easily deteriorated even when it receives ultraviolet rays and the service life is prolonged. |
