PURPOSE:To perform the culture of YAMABUSHITAKE (a kind of Hydnum mushroom) fitting to the behavior of the mushroom without requiring the inclination of a culture bottle by employing the culture container comprising a bottle having a closable hole communicating with the outside thereof and culturing and growing the hyphae of the mushroom while the bottle is closed with a cap. CONSTITUTION:For example, the hyphae of the mushroom is cultured in a culture container 10, the container 10 comprising a culture bottle 12 having a neck portion 16 provided with four opened V-shaped notches 18 and a cap 14 having aeration holes 28a, 28b and receiving a filter material (e.g. sponge) 24 in the upper receiving chamber 22, and when the cap is fit to the neck portion 16, both the notches 18, 32 coincide with each other at a fitting portion 30 to form a communication hole 36. When the bundle of the spherical massive hyphae of the mushroom reaches the neck portion at the early growth period, the communication hole 36 is opened and the bundle of the spherical massive hyphae grows to the outside, thereby obtaining the YAMABUSHITAKE with grown needle portions. |
