HALF- AUTOMATIC DEVICE FOR COGGING KEY- FILE

The semi-automatic device is used mainly for the cogging of flat watchmakers' files. It has a simplified design allowing the appliance that holds the blank to serve simultaneously for its movement and turning. The semi-automatic device includes a feeding table (3) consisting of a fixed part (8), in which a screw (10) is mounted and screwed to a nut, connected to a movable part (9). To it is fastened a clamping device with a dividing spindle (16) and a groove (4) for positioning the blank (5) and a mechanism for the deflection of the blank (5) driven by a pneumatic cylinder (34), built in the body (14) of the dividing appliance (7), fastened through guiding columns and slipped on them return springs (15). The mechanism for turning the blank (5) includes a pneumatic cylinder (20) with a piston rack (22) geared with a gear (21) mounted on dividing spindle (16). Above the feeding table (3) is positioned a striker mechanism (2) and next to it a clamping mechanism (6) for clamping blank (5) in groove (4).
