PURPOSE:To obtain a lid excellent in sealability and capable of being freely bent in a hinge-like swinging motion by a method wherein a notch is formed on a connecting part and a peripheral vertical wall on a hinge part and a peripheral skirt part on the hinge part is made severable freely. CONSTITUTION:A hinge part 40 is formed as a thin plate which extends over both a peripheral vertical wall 24 and a connecting part 29 to connect a top panel part 21 and a top panel 22 of a peripheral edge. A tearing line 25a connected with a peripheral thin wall part 33 is provided on the peripheral skirt part 25 on the hinge part 40 and, when the peripheral skirt part 25 is torn along the peripheral thin wall part 33, the tearing starts at the peripheral thin wall part 33, proceeds along the tearing line 25a and continues to sever the peripheral skirt part 25. |
