FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas turbine plants, turbocharged internal combustion engines and turbo-expanders. SUBSTANCE: turbocompressor with gas-static support has housing 1 accommodating turbine 3 and centrifugal compressor 4. Gas static support 5 is mounted between housing 1 and centrifugal impeller 6 with blades 8 covered by disk 9. Step 14 and trunnion 13 are made on disk 9. Bushing 12 is installed in housing 1. Ring spaces 15 with holes 16 are formed at both sides of trunnion. Holes 16 of ring spaces 15 serve to place spaces in communication with low pressure space ü. Disk 9 of impeller 6 and bushings 12 can be made of aluminium alloy with contact surfaces made of alloy Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>..
