This device consists of sheets of aluminium or another material, which sheets are fixed and allow light to pass through, reflect the sun's rays and permit a circulation of air (1). The device will be fixed on the framework of the roof of the veranda by means of fastening profiles (2-3) or on the filling material (4). It will be possible for this solar protection device to consist of sheets of different shapes, respecting the basic principle (7-8-9-10-11-12), a single wall or double wall, with or without a filling of insulating foam. <IMAGE>
